In May we shared the success of three of our pupils who, following the Junior Maths Challenge paper in April, qualified to go through to the next round of the UK Junior Maths Challenge. The UK Junior Maths Challenge is open to schools in the UK and approximately 300,000 pupils nationally take part each year.
Well done to year 7 pupils Borys Staruzyk, Alice Neild and Lorcan Palmer who performed brilliantly in the second round of the competition. Special congratulations to Lorcan, who has been recognised as one of the top 25% of able mathematicians nationally and has qualified for round three; the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
